St. George's, November 15, 2010 – Another football competition has started in Grenada. This one is in Clozier, St. John, and it has the support of the Parliamentary Representative, Hon. Michael Church.
The MP, who is also Environment Minister, has been investing in the development of Clozier, which recently benefited from the completion and commissioning of a project that has brought pipe-borne water to villagers for the first time.
At the opening of the competition on Sunday, November 14, Hon. Church donated three balls to the organisers.
The tournament, which will be held over four weeks at the Clozier Football Field, involves five teams vying for the winner's trophy.
